Welcome to Heywood Consolidated School
Heywood Consolidated School offers an inclusive learning environment focussed on developing the minds and values of our next generation of local citizens.

Apart from a structured academic learning program, we emphasise the development of core values such as respect, persistence, gratitude and resilience. This is achieved through mindfulness, circle time, interest clubs, and a variety of team-based initiatives.

Enrolments are now welcome for Foundation 2025.

Please contact the school office to book a tour or enquire about our enrolment procedures.
The History
Heywood Consolidated School derives its name from the consolidation of ten primary schools in the 1950’s from the communities of Heywood, Condah, Breakaway Creek, Heathmere, Hotspur, Homerton, Myamyn, Drumborg, Mount Eckersley and Whittlebury (Lake Condah). The consolidation meant that students would benefit from facilities such as libraries, art rooms, canteens and sports facilities that did not exist in the smaller rural schools.
The school is also a hub for community activities with multiple sporting groups using our facilities at various times throughout the year.
